The new 2013 UP gevos are 8 tons heavier then the standard es44ac and were ordered specifically to be assigned to the I-5 corridor to help fix the problem of stalling underpowered trains on the hill South of Oakridge. At only a few moths old, these two are a testament to how hard it was for SP to keep their power clean when they ran the show. |
