||CORP Job #501, the Eugene-Roseburg job described over the radio as the "Yoncalla Hauler" operates with UP power, typically as seen here, in the form of two back-to-back SD70Ms as does its Northbound counterpart job 508 the "Medford Hauler". Up until 2007 the Siskiyou line still had several semaphore signals in use between Goshen and Yoncalla, but today this is all that remains of the blades that once covered the line. These signals appear to be a pair that was welded down in to searchlights by SP which replaced them in a seemingly very random order. I'm no signal expert, but it's a safe assumption to say these were likely taken out of service in 2007 with the last semaphores when the lines more modern signal system had fully replaced the old one.
