SP 192 was built in May of 1995, as one of SPs last locomotive orders, spending just over a year in SP's control before spending the majority of its tenure in UP's hands. Shes still wears her late great owners livery untouched, after 17 years. Next to her is a 10 month old fresh UP SD70Ace, making this to me, one great looking lash up. |

Something no scanner or tracing system can evidently fully replace. Caught this after planning to spend all day at Dougren, but after JUST missing Amtrak 14 before pulling into Dougren due to forgetting batteries, and chasing it to Eugene, our priorities and locations for the day were changed. |

Southern Pacific Through the Blackberries |
| Description: |
My favorite picture from this lucky day. One of the last unpatched SP warriors in 2012 leads a long repo train of boxcars that came off of the Modoc line, over flowering blackberry bushes at Junction City. This train had also picked up some other cars at Eugene by this point. This was my last time seeing an unpatched Southern Pacific locomotive lead a train. |
