Southbound Cascades Pulls in Between the Downpour |

The 11th was definitely the wettest day of the four we spent trackside, but as being a railfan and from Oregon, it was about as useful as stopping a freight train with a BB gun. |

King Tut Fronted 506 About to be Passed By Its Successor Train |
Description: |
Train 506 lead by the King Tut painted unit had some kind of major malfunction causing the locomotive and train to stall for over three hours on the Colombia River Swing bridge, only about 9 miles into its Northward journey. On the right are the headlights of train 516, which is supposed to be hours behind it, passing it on the bridge. |
