Album Info:Trip number 4 via Amtrak Cascades to see my brother in his new hometown and my railfanning heaven, Vancouver Washington. I'm from Springfield Oregon and thats the state where ive spent very close to 100% of all my railfanning time. "The Depot Inside the Wye" has been a very big change for me as a railfan, and im loving every second of it.... no more hours of waiting just to end up with one train (definitely taught me patience though), all sorts of colorful locomotives old and new, on or off their home rails, coal, lumber, tankers, grainers, intermodal, passenger and more trains with double tracked legs of each wye being the junction between BNSF's Seattle and Fallbridge Subdivisions with a modest and friendly Amtrak depot in between all the action. Thank you to rrpicturearchives for allowing me to share something i love doing very much and to all of the viewers, I hope you enjoy.

Description:  Crisp clean and fresh matching pair of Powerbars tied down near the North leg. After all my time on UP's system, seeing an old GP30 (rebuilt, but on the outside none the less a GP30) in fresh paint with a lone grafitti-free matching box car reminded me very much of something id see in a Rio Grande Pentrex video from a long gone era.

Description:  Led by GE Amtrak 161. This train came into the depot within moments of the departure of number 11 the Coast Starlight which had AMTK 184 the phase 4 unit in the consist. This locomotive and entire trainset would provide me with an excellent ride home a few days later as the Southbound 509.

Description:  ...as they come off the Seattle and on to the Fallbridge on the North leg after a crew change. Both 701 and 703 were delivered in the post-merger "identity crisis" variant of the Warbonnet on the Dash 9, displaying the new company's name on the side but retaining "Santa Fe" on the nose. As seen here, number 703 has been repainted for at least a few years.
