| Fairly objectively the best looking Southern Pacific-painted locomotive on UP's roster in 2021, the UP 1124, makes another appearance on the Weyerhaeuser Local as it has been doing sporadically for the last five years, and it has been a treat every time. Today's job has just finished its work in Springfield and has been given authority to enter Eugene Yard on the WP siding. It is seen here between those locations at Springfield Junction, where the former Siskiyou line ties in with the newer Cascade line. |
