| This ALCO S2 used to serve the International Papermill on the near-by Gardiner branch of the Longview Portland & Northen. The branch connects to the Coos Bay line near Reedsport and jets out 4 miles to Gardiner. While it has been abandoned since the late '90's the branch itself still exists rusted and un-used, and I took pictures of what remains for this album. |
